Opening Night - Trees for Life Art Prize

Join us for the Opening Night of Saving Sydneys Trees - 'Trees for Life' Art Prize Exhibition on Friday, 22 April, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm.  Winners of the art prizes will be announced at 6:30pm.

The Art Prize has been established to capture the majesty and grandeur of the spectacular trees lining Anzac Parade and other hot spots, before more of these beautiful trees fall victim to their needless destruction to make way for Sydney's SE Light Rail route. We believe light rail and these magnificent trees can co-exist and our aim is to convince the NSW government that a solution must be found.

Esteemed landscape artist, Danelle Bergstrom and curator, Erica Drew, along with Emeritus Professor of Landscape, Helen Armstrong, AM, will curate and judge the inaugural exhibition.

To attend the Opening Night, please RSVP using the Eventbrite link:

The exhibition is also open over Anzac weekend – from Noon to 6pm on Saturday, 23 April and Noon to 4pm on Sunday, 24 April. All welcome!
